Up for Adoption

We have 2 cats and now 4 additional beautiful kittens.

REASON:
We would love to keep all of them, but the cost is too much to bear to mantain 6. Therefore, we would like to put 3 kittens up for adoption. They are really close together and we are looking for any cat lovers who would like to have one or even pair of kittens. The bigger ones are already too attached to us as we have been having them since they were little. We love all of them alot, and would like to find a proper home for each of the 3 little ones.

Breed= Partial Persian
Gender= all males
Age= About 2 months
*All are litter trained

all 4 cuddling up to sleep

ADOPTION #1:

He’s really fairrrrr, the fairest among the others and is the happiest/most active one =)

ADOPTION #2:

He’s quieter, very obedient and very attached. You can see from his fur, he looks more persian than the other 2.

ADOPTION #3:

He’s really my darl. He’s the smallest one, always get boss around by his siblings but very attached as well.

We might want to give this lil one up for adoption too. just MAYBE.

Date of delivery: 18.10.09
Place of delivery: Old Town, PJ (in her wooden box)
Time of delivery: Between 2.04 – ______

Note: Everyone crashed that night. So no one stayed through her whole delivery. Nigel stayed up and was with her moments before she went into “labour”. Everyone called me up, but I didn’t flinched abit. Pretty bummed that I slept through the whole time and did not get it recorded =( I woke up at 7+ checked my phone and was a msg: Midnight is giving birth. Jumped right off my bed and went out, just to see the cries of the lil ones… =) I went estatic and woke everyone up.. haha only to find out I was the only one that didn’t know. -_- But here are the bundles of joy!!!!!! and I think I know who the dad is!!! Thank God she’s healthy and the 4 babies are too.

She’s exhausted, wanted to sleep but wakes up at the slightest sound by her kitties and feeds her babies.

Talk about the after labor excitement!!!

IMG_3860

Little buddy was still sleeping. Mommy carried the other 3 siblings into another box

But left him to sleep.

I didn’t know why.

but Mommy knew best. Mommy didn’t carry him till this little buddy was awake.

IMG_3874

The other THREEs.

You could see how much she cared for them

How sensitive

I still have the “ohmygoodness! She’s a MOM!!”

and I have not 2 but 2 + 4 lovely ones at home

It’s gonna be a miawy night/s. lol

IMG_3861

I still don’t know their genders. For now they are all “little buddies” to me

I’ll know. soon.

Have a great Sunday!!

________________________________________________________________________

Those who went that night had a great time there – but there were many things that were done to make it happen. A few hours event was only possible with dayss and weeks of planning.I reckon it is not easy.

Being asked to help out with deco an event was indeed something really new and a first time experience was both exciting and scary. Seeing how such event is being coordinated and amount of time spent makes you really appreciate each person’s commitment to serve and it’s rewarding to see people  blessed in the event itself.

It started with “come out with an idea and send me a proposal by tomolo, can? Thank you soo much”.

There were no idea in my head but the words came out were, “no worries, can”. =)

No matter how much/ long your effort were put in it, it can be either “ohhh that’s nice” or “errrr, that’s bad”. A good idea did not just grow on trees, but through a process. The deco that you see on the day itself was a process of changes/ ideas being built up upon another, till the night before it. God’s just works things out till the last minute of it- and it’s always the best He wants for you.

IMG_0746I headed to the hardware store and asked the lady for a list of electrical items (from what my friend told me). I had absalootely no idea how to fix it out, only through logic. She insisted that I found someone who knew a thing or two about it. As I reached home, I got a called from Abel who wanted to drop by to use the bathroom, and later Egbert called and ask if he could drop by. Rays of hope =)

Thankfully, they helped fixed the whole wiring. and did a mighty great job- it was all our first time working on something like this.

it wasn’t hard, it just took an amount of time.

The wordings:

cut out wordings on thick cardboard and did paper mache on them (to create texture on them)

had to call mom early in the morning to find out how to make kanji =p

IMG_0766everyone in the house ran and helped as we were cooking for homes that day.

IMG_0779

Paint and sprinkle glitter on them. I ran out of aerosol spray, so an alternative of hairspray did the trick. (helps make the glitter stick better onto it, making it less messy)

A Wrapped Lunch

Today, Life skills was talking about time management. Managing your time and managing the interruptions that causes you to take a longer time to finish are 2 important areas. You can end up doing nothing at all or too much if there isn’t a balance. Lest to say, these 2 alone spark lots of things to work on from now. =p

On the way home, I was thinking what would be good for lunch and fixed something quick.

Meal for today.

Another fun time was helping Jonathan with his photography assignment: a portrait assignment. He waited while I did her makeup and hair and later we headed opposite my house where there were a fallen tree and bushes everywhere. I thought it was just perfect, except for the mosquitoes and heat which made the makeup melt faster then it should.

And he took some awesome REALLYYY good shots.

A beginning

It has been an eventful, full-packed weeks. As I looked back at my planner, I find myself amazed how I stayed alive till today. haha. Truly with God’s strength and Brands chicken essence. =) Photos serve a big importance for a forgetful person I am. I need reminders- and God place photography in my list of interest. Today, I clicked open my picture folder for the month of July and August. What’s harder is looking back at the amount of photos and wishing I could upload them in minutes and wondering where I should begin =)

Life is good. and so is it chaotic. but nevertheless, through these times, they built up a girl’s heart. with a stronger inner man.

There are many new things.

Quotes that I have been reading from Rick Warren’s The purpose of Driven Life:

  • Experience is not what happens to you. It is what you do with what happens to you
  • You can have alot to live on and still have nothing to live for
  • There is no growth without change, no change without fear or loss, and no loss without pain. Therefore is this equation: PAIN = FEAR=CHANGE=GROWTH. When there is pain, there is means for growth. =)
  • Real maturity is never the result of a single experience. Maturity is living with the tension
  • While we worry about how FAST we grow, God is concerened about how STRONG we grow
  • Life is a series of problems
  • Your most profound adn intimate experiences of worship will likely be in your darkest days
  • Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less
  • Life is all about learning how to love
  • Busyness is a great enemy of relationship
  • God is not mad at you; he’s made about you.

a week

Playback of May 2009

Sometime back, our  next-door neighbors were moving out, and so gave us some furniture.  There were cool IKEA wooden blinders/ glass cupboards/ shelves. That led to a rearrangement of the house. and later the room.

After- Previously, we did not have any wooden shelf/table, so our TV was on the floor and stacks of notes were used to jack up the TV.  Thus, I was excited that our TV would finally be moved from the floor to a wooden cupboard- and we all now can watch the TV while sitting the sofas.

Part II

Rebekah and Nancie came over and we prepared dinner together.. =) I specially requested for Pumpkin soup that I had during one of Rebekah’s class serving in Taylor’s .  None of us knew how to make it, but she went to get the recipe from her lecturer and together with Suli and the other housemates, we did it. haha.

They are such a joy to be around with. =) It was so special to have everyone coming together.. since everyone has their busy daily schedule on normal days. Thank you!
